| With our climate becoming more extreme, as gardeners we should go with nature and plant the right plant for the right place.
If your garden in the South East it is likely that you may have a dry, sun baked spot in which nothing will grow.
Drought resistant plants have adapted themselves to cope with low water availability. Many have silver or hairy leaves which are botanically designed to reduce excessive water loss. If you intend on planting up a dry spot it is advisable to ensure your soil is free draining especially during the wet winter months.
