I specialise in landscaping smaller gardens typically found in city, town, urban areas or new build homes. These gardens tend to be under 150m sq.
Factors that will influence the cost of your garden;
- Garden
topography
- is your garden on a slope ? Will it need levelling?
- Garden soil - do you have poor soil ? Will we need to import new top soil or organic matter?
- What
materials
would you like to use?
Pressure
treated timber is less expensive compared to traditional
masonry
products. A deck patio is a cheaper
alternative
to sandstone paving and a crushed stone path is a more economical
alternative
to a brick paving.
- What size plants would you like to use? If you want instant impact we will need to use larger mature plants. If you can be patient we can use small plants which will soon establish.
- Are there any existing features which you can keep? We may be able to modify and enhance an existing patio or lawn.
- Would you like a water feature and/or lighting? You will need to employ a qualified electrician to install outdoor power.
- Overall consider the
specialist
skills, labour and materials involved for you to achieve the garden you want. Think about the hidden cost which you may not
necessarily
think about, such as foundations, waste removal, mulch, and quality of materials.
I
believe that
if your garden is designed correctly you can achieve a beautiful outdoor space on a
relatively
small budget - without
compromising
on
aesthetic
value.
If you would like your outdoor space turned in to a beautiful garden I would be delighted to help you. For a FREE consultation (subject to location and garden size) either email or call 0870 8031 1156 (mobile 0770 790 9031).
